I am deeply honored to be recognized for our dedication to uplifting displaced and underserved communities across Bloomington, Richfield, Minneapolis, and the surrounding areas. These awards are not just a reflection of our organization, they represent the strength of the communities we serve, the passion of our team, and the generosity of our supporters.

Each recognition fuels our mission to provide food assistance, essential items, and access to educational support through back-to-school drives and community-centered events.

Recent Honors:

2024 Bloomington Change Maker - Presented by The City of Bloomington
Bloomington Pioneers and Changemakers is a series that honors Black leaders who have a connection to Bloomington every February for Black History Month. These pioneers and changemakers have done so much to chart the path to where we are today and pave the way for future generations.

2025 Gene and Mary Jacobsen Outstanding Citizen - Presented by The City of Richfield
The award is given to a family, group, organization, business or individual who lives or works in Richfield and whose actions demonstrate an awareness and commitment to the attitudes and practices that foster human understanding, tolerance and the spirit of human relations.

I share these achievements with every volunteer, donor, and community member who continues to believe in our work. Together, we are creating lasting change—one act of service at a time.
